Confedent International is the official PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) nominated by the congress organisers to collect the registrations of the event you are registering for.

At Confedent International, we are committed to protecting the privacy of the personal data you provide for this event registration. This Data Processing Policy details how we collect and use your data. By completing the registration form you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the event you are registering for. The Terms and conditions can be found on the registration form and on the confirmation email you will receive after registering.

 

Data Controller

The data controllers managing the data for the events are the Congress Managers and Congress Coordinators responsible for each event. Should you have any questions about what data is collected please contact them at the specific email addresses for the event you are registering for.

Data Processing Consent

The following statements describe what we are doing with your data and how long we store it, so that you are fully informed prior to submitting your personal information for the event registration. 

Once your registration is submitted, you have the right to: 

  • ask us about your personal data at any time. 
  • withdraw consent for the use of your personal data at any time. 
  • request that we anonymize your personal data. 

Why are we processing your personal data?
We ask for necessary personal data to facilitate your registration for this event. 

Distribution of Data
As part of the organisation of the event, we will need to share appropriate data with third parties in order to process your registration. These third parties may include: 

  • Microsoft Azure – The secure server where our registration data is housed
  • Venues and other event suppliers – As applicable
  • Event Sponsors – As applicable  

How long will we store your personal data?
Due to financial and tax implications we will need to keep a record of your data for up to 24 months after the conclusion of the event.

 

Additional Information

Personal data about your accompanying persons or children
By giving your consent, you authorise the use of any children or accompanying person/s personal data for the purpose of this event. Please note that you must be over the age of 18 to accept consent for another person. 

The right to inquire about your personal data
You retain the right to ask us about your personal data at any time. Please contact our Data Protection Officer (above) with any inquiries you may have.

The right to withdraw your consent
You retain the right to withdraw consent to use your personal data at any time. Please contact our Data Protection Officer (above) with any inquiries you may have.

Please be aware that a withdrawal of consent before the start of the event will be treated as a cancellation and you will incur full event cancellation fees, as noted in the event Terms and Conditions.

The right to anonymize your personal details
You retain the right to request that we anonymize your personal data. If you have attended any event with us and request after the event to be anonymised, we will retain any financial, tax or event attendance records for reporting, but will remove all personal data from our database, leaving an “anonymized” record for reporting reasons. All Records will be “anonymized” 24 months after the conclusion of the event.
